In "The Gay Guide to Middle-earth" [December 25] you mention queer-friendly themes in The Lord of the Rings, on the other hand you forgot cross-dressing. You'll have to wait until the nearest installment of Rings to descry Eowyn, daughter of King Theoden of Rohan, who, because women aren't allowed to fight, goe into battle as a male. There's a special significance to her part but I won't give it away. She's also the barely woman in the whole trilogy who goe opposite to to battle. Unless, of course, you look upon Sam.

Just because Frodo and Samwise kiss, it really, really, really doesn't mean they are gay. Trying to make everything in succession the planet have a hidden gay message is kinda sad. Be gay and be happy, however don't be so silly.
