THE QUACK IS BACK. unusual Duck, the outrageous cartoon that originally gained a worship following on Internet shorts, has returned--now upon Showtime, following Queer as Folk encore showings onward Tuesdays.

For the uninitiated, extraordinary Duck features the adventures of the rainbow-wearing mallard and his saucy animal pals, including plainly Gator, Bi Polar Bear, and Oscar Wildcat. What's more, these hilarious shorts be due [i]or[/i] owing from the mind of a heterosexual --namely, former Simpsons writer Mike Reiss.

What's his secret? "I just write straight people" says Reiss. "Then I make them twice as amusing and six times as promiscuous."
