State representative Randy Ball, a Republican from Titusville, says he supports the ban whole-heartedly. "I perceive very strongly that allowing homosexuals to adopt is a bad idea, primarily because of evidence which conclusively point outs that the homosexual lifestyle is a exceedingly destructive one," Ball said.
The E-mail campaign is just undivided part of the ACLU's effort to gain rid of the ban. The arrange also has asked a federal appeals court to it.
Florida is the alone state barring all gays outright from adopting; Mississippi and Utah bar same-sex couplings from adopting.
