Mark Bingham's be enamoured of of rugby was legendary, and now many of his compeer players are showing their delight in in return by creating a rugby tournament in his name. The inaugural Mark Kendall Bingham chalice Invitational Rugby Tournament and Festival will labor for as the 2002 gay rugby world championship. The tournament, to be held in San Francisco June 28-29 was created according to Bingham's former team, the San Francisco haze and the International Gay Rugby Association. Eight gay rugby bludgeons from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Argentina are locate to compete.

"Mark would have lov an incident like this, and I believe it's a fitting tribute to his passion for rugby sportsmanship, and fun" said Alice Hoglan, Bingham's mother.
