Ford Motor Co announced May 20 that former executive Allan Gilmour is coming disclosed of retirement to serve as chief financial officer while the company works to regain profitability. Gilmour, 67 retired from the company in 1995 and acknowledged that he is gay in 1996

The automaker's chief executive Bill Ford, said he inflected to Gilmour because "he's helped us by means of tough times before and helped us to record profitability before."
