The U chief Court on June 3 threw disclosed an appeal from Texas authorities, who argued that the capital slay conviction of Calvin Burdine should stand despite the inattention of his court-appointed attorney, Joe Cannon. Burdine initially admited to stabbing to death his partner, WT Wise, at the Houston trailer they shared in 1983 if it be not that he now claims an accomplice killed Wise.
